Drew Darby was born in San Angelo. He and his wife, Clarisa, celebrate twenty-seven years of marriage, and have five children and three grandchildren.

Drew attended the University of Texas at Austin on a football scholarship. The first member of his family to attend and graduate from college, he finished his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance with a minor in Accounting.

He then entered the University of Texas School of Law and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. Additionally, Drew graduated from the Emerging Political Leaders Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
